Abstract:Distal radius fractures are common injuries that often require surgical intervention. Commonly, these fractures are fixed using open reduction internal fixation with plating and screws. This often requires a more extensive soft tissue dissection and exposure. In contrast for certain cases, percutaneous headless compression screws may be appropriate.
