Technologies of zero energies buildings. A review

Abstract: Buildings represent a significant proportion of total carbon and energy emissions worldwide and play an important role in the formulation of sustainable development strategies. Several countries have adopted or consider the possibility of establishing Zero Energy Buildings (ZEB) as their future energy targets to alleviate the problems related to the depletion of energy resources and the deterioration of the environment.
