Teenage and young adult cancer

Abstract: There is increasing recognition that teenagers and young adults (TYAs) are a distinct group from children and older adults and have their own unique needs. This chapter explores the particular issues that affect this group, including late diagnosis, psychosocial impact, family concerns, late effects of treatment, and end-of-life care issues.
