India is characterised by low penetration of healthcare services where primary healthcare facilities for rural population are highly inadequate. The majority of doctors practice in urban and semi-urban areas, whereas the major proportion of population lives in rural areas. This calls for the innovative methods for utilisation of science and technology for th… Show more

“…One article did not fit the definition of VC used in this article [ 17 ]. Two articles explained the potential of VC but did not report patient outcomes [ 18 ] [ 19 ]. Four articles were study protocols and did not report data [ 20 ]-[ 23 ], three articles were commentaries or letter’s to the editor [ 24 ] [ 25 ], and four articles measured provider but not patient outcomes [ 26 ]-[ 29 ].…”

“…The rate constant and half life value were derived by linear regression analysis of residual concentration on a logarithmic scale against time of incubation for each soil. Table-4 reveals that the higher rate constant is 0.2751 day-1 in black soil with 1.00% farm yard manure, while the half-life (T1/2) value is maximum in alluvial soil 10.63/ day 34 . It has also been reported that half-life values are inversely proportional to the rate constant (Kdeg) values 35 .…”

“…Visual communication cues offered through VTC can provide meaningful information beyond what can be communicated by telephone, and VTC (because of the increased data burden) may be subject to higher technology failure rates than telephone communication (which could erode the efficacy of VTC‐based telehealth pain programs). The vast majority of homes have available telephone service (98%), offering fewer limitations on study recruitment and fewer technological barriers to treatment implementation (although the availability of broadband Internet access required for VTC is growing).…”
