Telemedicine in Heart Failure in the COVID-19 and Post-Pandemic Era: What Have We Learned?

Abstract: Numerous studies showed that patients with heart failure (HF) and COVID-19 are at high risk of in-hospital complications and long-term mortality. Changes in the organisation of the medical system during the pandemic also worsened access to standard procedures, increasing the general mortality in HF and forcing the systems to be reorganised with the implementation and development of telemedical technologies.
