“…Line strength parameters for all rotational transitions were obtained from the JPL Molecular Spectroscopy database (Pickett et al, 1998). Line broadening parameters were obtained from Bauer et al (1989) for the water line, and Varanasi (1975) for the carbon monoxide lines. In addition to rotational transitions, further atmospheric opacity comes from collision induced absorption (CIA) from CO 2 , which forms the "continuum" emission seen at frequencies well separated from rotational lines.…”
