The posterior cingulate, as well as the DMN at large, have been (e.g., right posterior cingulate gyrus) widely implicated in cue-reactivity, as well as other paradigms, across substance use disorders (Englemann et al, 2012; Janes et al, 2016; Devoto et al, 2020; Wang et al, 2020).
