This study aims to present a systematic literature review, bringing the Key Items to Report Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyzes (PRISMA), through a thematic research entitled Entrepreneurship stimulated Development in business Incubators (DEI). Addressing the existing concepts in the literature on systematic literature review, and illustrating the step-by-step systematic literature review and the PRISMA diagram. The survey of academic-scientific productions was conducted in three databases (Scopus, Scielo and Web of Science) guided by the guiding question: "In relation to entrepreneurship, what is the role of business incubators in regional or local development?". In total, there were 25 scientific articles that formed the set for the review analysis. The results showed the lack of studies on the gravitational factors of attraction and retention of initiatives for business incubators. Thus, a gap was identified that could be filled with future studies. Presenting pre and post incubation aspects of companies, suggesting applicable guidelines involving the Triple Helix model. Leaving also, as a contribution, a table adapted from Prisma, with the objective of contributing to the construction of future research on systematic literature review.
