Tensor Product Alternatives for Nonlinear Field-Oriented Control of Induction Machines

Abstract:The paper presents a nonlinear field-oriented control technique based on the tensor product representation of the nonlinear induction machine model and the solvability of linear matrix inequalities. The nonlinear model has 32 quasi linear parameter-varying equivalent variants, and it is shown that only half of the models result in feasible controller.
