Termination: Legal and Ethical Considerations for Marriage and Family Therapists

Abstract: Every Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) must carefully plan how to initiate, convene, and terminate therapy. Determining how to ethically terminate therapy in a variety of therapeutic contexts can be challenging.
