“…In this study, the novice nurse cohort at the 3rd month after being employed was assumed to be the baseline and the rate of turnover was confirmed in each period of December 2003, June 2004, and March 2005. As a result, the turnover ratio in the 2 years was 12.7%, which was less than the turnover rate in 1 year in the USA: 24% (Marcum, 2004), 30% (Monarch, 1994), 66% (Rufo, 1987), and 70% (Squires, 2002). When we consider the factors for turnover, the factors such as “no support from peers” and being “dissatisfied with the workplace” strongly affect the turnover of novice nurses.…”
