“…This paper's weakness is that it solely appearance at some forms of activity models, ignoring others who appreciate FSM, EFSM, directed and undirected graphs, and algorithms that we cowl in our overview [1]. The benefits of model-based testing are that it increases detection of faults, advanced test case design can systematically approach requirement coverage, intangible benefits [28]. Different examinations show the significance of website application testing.…”

“…Before introducing MBT, the SUT (Testinium) was tested automatically using a BDD test framework named Gauge (gauge.org), in which test scrips were written in natural language (mostly Turkish, but English would also be possible), and then Selenium code was developed to map those test scripts to Java commands to exercise the SUT. We have reported details of that other project in another recent paper (Garousi et al, 2020b). For the interested reader, we show an example of a Gauge test-script for the same SUT (Testinium) in Table 5.…”

“…To provide the larger context of the work reported in this paper, let us note that MBT is only one of the work-packages of the TESTOMAT project, and in the industrial context of the subject company (Testinium A.Ş. ), several other test automation innovation have also been conducted and published as recent papers, e.g., experience reports and a set of innovative best practices for executable natural-language test specifications using a test tool called Gauge (gauge.org) were published in Garousi et al (2020b) and Garousi et al (2019).…”
