Test of Vibrations Influence on the Measurement Accuracy in the Precise Digital Leveller Trimble Dini 03 and Comparison of Its Vibration Sensitivity with Leveller Ni 002

Abstract: The article presents findings from research on the effect of vibrations on the accuracy of measurement with an automatic precise digital leveller. A special research station was created to induce vibrations on a leveller and to measure vibration parameters that affect staff reading. It contains description of discovered relationship between the vibration parameters and the mean error of a single height difference measurement. The range of frequencies for which the measurement was possible was estimated. The re… Show more

“…Modern measuring technologies enable the implementation of tasks that have not been possible until now by traditional methods while ensuring the required precision. Currently, construction objects and subsoil can be monitored using classic geodetic methods [14,15], the GNSS system and gravimetric measurements [16][17][18], unmanned aerial vehicles, and laser scanning [19][20][21], and supplemented with GIS technology [22,23]. The analytical part of the displacement determination process and the prediction of changes and planning of modernization work on the facilities can also be supported by intelligent monitoring systems based on artificial intelligence [24][25][26][27].…”

“…Classic geodetic networks (horizontal and vertical) are the basic scheme for geodetic measurements and their use in engineering and research. Geodetic networks are used as an essential tool for obtaining information for monitoring displacements and deformations of building objects [1,7,12,20,32], in geodetic planning, and agricultural management works [13,23], in spatial and geographic information systems [18,23,33], in engineering geodesy [5,9,10,17,24] or photogrammetry and remote sensing [2,3,25,29,30]. It is essential to determine the coordinates of geodetic networks characterized by a high level of confidence and with identified mean errors considering the wide application of geodetic measurements in various fields of knowledge.…”
