Abstract:Background
The adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) is a rare and highly aggressive malignancy originating from the adrenal cortex. These patients usually undergo chemotherapy with etoposide, doxorubicin, cisplatin and mitotane (EDP-M) in case of locally advanced or metastatic ACC.
