“…5c, the ρ of CBTNM-1000 x ceramics increases from 3.5 × 10 10 Ω cm to 7.9 × 10 10 Ω cm at 200 °C, while the change is not obvious at 500 °C with the ρ of the ceramics increasing from 1.0 × 10 7 Ω cm to 1.4 × 10 7 Ω cm. The dc conduction mechanism of CBTNM-1000 x ceramics can be further studied by the Arrhenius equation, as follows: 11,27 where ρ 0 and E cond represent the pre-exponential factor and the activation energy of thermally activated dc conduction process ( E cond ), respectively; k B and T are the Boltzmann constant and the environment temperature, respectively. The fitting results of E cond are shown in Fig.…”

“…There are various methods to improve the performance of CBT ceramics. The textured CBT were prepared with an increased piezoelectric constant (d 33 ∼ 25.3 pC/N) using spark plasma sintering technique [8]. Besides, ion doping is effective at enhancing the piezoelectric properties of CBT ceramics.…”

“…It is urgent to develop piezoelectric materials with higher T C and excellent electrical properties. Bismuth layer-structured ceramics, such as Bi 4 Ti 3 O 12 , CaBi 2 Nb 2 O 9 , and CaBi 4 Ti 4 O 15 , show an ultrahigh T C of >650 °C. However, their piezoelectric activities are maintained at a low level ( d 33 < 50 pC/N). For example, Liu et al improved the piezoelectric performance of CaBi 4 Ti 4 O 15 ceramics by the Ta–Mn codoping, leading to a d 33 of 24 pC/N and T C of 793 °C.…”
