TGF-β associated senescence and impaired metabolism in central memory CD4 T cells promotes HIV persistence

Abstract: Current therapeutic interventions to eradicate latent HIV (“reservoir”) and restore immune function in ART-treated HIV infection have yet to show efficacy.
