Abstract: <p>The 1934 Bihar-Nepal earthquake, one of the most catastrophic events ever to occur in the Himalayas, inflicted extensive devastation with reported MMI of IX-VI in the Kathmandu valley and the Indo-Gangetic (IG) basin.
