Abstract:The Discrete Simulation of Fluid Dynamics (DSFD) series of conferences originated with the 1986 Los Alamos conference organised by Gary D. Doolen. Since that time, the DSFD conferences have emerged as the premier forum for researchers in the field, and many exciting new discoveries in lattice models of fluid dynamics have been announced at DSFD conferences. Topics emphasised at these meetings include lattice Boltzmann schemes, dissipative particle dynamics, smoothed-particle hydrodynamics, direct simulation Mo… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
