“…Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui efektivitas dari Ekstrak daun ketapang (Terminalia catappa L.) dengan larutan metanol 98% yang akan diujikan pada bakteri patogen ikan lele (Clarisa batrachus L.). Ekstrak Daun ketapang diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode maserasi (Kulawe et al, 2019).…”

“…The inocula of the test organisms were standardized by the method of Bauer and Thornsberry [14]. This was done by suspending each test organism in 5ml of nutrient broth and the turbidity was compared with that of 0.5 McFarland standard [15]. McFarland standard was prepared by adding 0.6 ml of 1% barium chloride (BaCl 2 ) to 99.4 ml of 1% sulphuric acid (H 2 S0 4 ) solution.…”

“…The positive control performed better than the extracts in terms of zone of inhibition. The results of the minimum Kulawe et al; AJB2T, 5(4): 1-7, 2019; Article no.AJB2T.52124 2 inhibitory concentration (MIC) indicated that the leaf ethanolic extract had the greatest activity against K. pneumoniae with MIC value of 12.5 mg/ml, while the results from the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) showed that the leaf ethanolic extract had the greatest activity against K. pneumoniae with an MBC value of 12.5 mg/ml.…”
