Abstract: The Many Uses of the Sweet Potato, and How to Make the Most of Them By s. R. Winters T HE 1921 sweet potato crop for the entire United States-accepting the July forecast of the Bureau of Crop Es timates-is sufficient to produce approxi mately 200,000,000 gallons of syrup-a volume suggesting a revision of the Bibli cal phrase, "a land flowing in milk and honey," to that of a soil drenched in sweet potato syrup.
