Abstract:This analytical study focused on discussing the collective effects of hydrostatic pressure and temperature on the ground state energy for two electrons trapped in GaAs parabolic quantum dot in the presence of a magnetic field using the effective mass approximation. The electronic interaction was approximated by the Johnson--Payne potential model, where its parameters were carefully chosen to match the Coulomb interaction. It is noted that the ground state energy decreases with an increment in pressure while it… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
