The Antidemocratic Drift in the Early 21st Century: Some Thoughts on its Roots, Dynamics and Prospects

Abstract: In the first two decades of the 21st century, the previous democratization progress was partly reversed. It is well seen in the former Soviet Union and Central and Eastern Europe but also in other geographic regions.
