Abstract: Patients diagnosed with isocitrate dehydrogenase mutant (IDHmut) gliomas suffer frequently from seizures. Although the clinical course is less aggressive than that of its IDH wildtype counterpart, recent discoveries have shown that epileptic activity can promote tumor proliferation.
