“…With the objective of closing this knowledge gap, the REEFCaDe (REEF and Carbonate Development) scientific project was launched at the University of Geneva fourteen years ago. Over this timeframe, various Upper Triassic Panthalassan localities were investigated in the Russian Far East [17,21], Japan [18,[22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30], the United States [30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40][41], Mexico [42][43][44] and Canada [45][46][47].
