The choice of a newly personnel to hire is a decision making problem that requires evaluation of many factors being not totally known in terms of enterprises. That the success of this process is as significant as may not be left for coincidences. Therefore, staff selection problems should be resolved with scientific methods. This study aims to carry out trainee recruitment by means of the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method being from one of the multi criteria decision making methods in a furniture factory. For this purpose, it was guaranteed by the enterprise that a student shall be hired as a CNC operator before the internship and this was notified to trainees in advance. Three students having satisfied the preconditions of enterprise were started the internship. The students were subjected to the evaluation at the end of training course and the most successful trainee among them was accepted for the job. In evaluation process the intern's linguistic variables were used and the defuzzification of fuzzy weights was carried out based on the α-cutting and optimism index. Özet İşe alınacak yeni bir personelin seçimi, işletmeler açısından tamamen bilinmeyen birçok faktörün değerlendirilmesini gerektiren bir karar verme problemidir. Bu sürecin başarısı tesadüflere bırakılmayacak kadar önemlidir. Bu nedenle, personel seçim problemleri bilimsel yöntemlerle çözülmelidir. Bu çalışma bir mobilya fabrikasında, çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerinden biri olan Bulanık Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi (FAHP) yöntemi ile stajyer seçiminin yapılması amaçlamıştır. Bu amaçla staj öncesinde CNC operatörü olarak bir öğrencinin işe alınacağı işletme tarafından garanti edilmiş ve stajyerlere önceden bildirilmiştir. İşletmenin ön koşullarını sağlayan üç öğrenci staja başlamıştır. Bu öğrenciler staj sonunda değerlendirilmeye tabi tutuldu ve aralarındaki en başarılı stajyer işe kabul edilmiştir. Stajyerlerin değerlendirilmesinde dilsel değişkenler kullanılmış ve bulanık ağırlıkların durulaştırılması α-kesme ve iyimserlik indeksine dayalı yapılmıştır.

Between selecting and not selecting policy, there are other selections. The history of Fuzzy logic and fuzzy method do not go very beyond. But the implementation of fuzzy and its logic in different disciplines are getting increased. This paper aims to study the notion of fuzzy and policy and importance of fuzzy in today's chaotic environment for policy makers in national and international era. Also there are a lot of books and papers published on the methods on fuzzy but this paper is somehow different with them because has non-mathematical look on fuzzy and it just makes familiar the policy makers with the notion of non-mathematical fuzzy.

In this research, sour cherry juice (SCJ) was treated using a combination of the Ultrasound‐Pulsed electric field (UP) wave and Hydrodynamic‐Pulsed electric field (HP) systems. The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of the combination of the pulsed electric field, ultrasonic wave, and hydrodynamic as new non‐thermal technologies on the inactivation of microorganisms, energy changes in one cycle of E. coli inactivation, and the quality of SCJ. The range of experimental conditions was as follows: electrical field intensity: 5–10 kV/cm, electric field time: 5–35 s, ultrasound power: 100–200 W, ultrasonic exposure time: 3–5 min, and hydrodynamic exposure time: 3–9 min. The results of the treatments indicated that the combination methods maintained the total phenolic content, anthocyanins, and vitamin C compared to the conventional method. By TOPSIS, a comparison between two combination methods showed that the pasteurization with UP performed better than the HP method. Practical applications One of the most effective ways for the utilization of nutritional benefits of fruits is to use their extracts or juices. Also, to kill any harmful bacteria, most juices thermally are pasteurized. Where such treatments often lead to a substantial decrease in their quality (vitamins, phenolics, anthocyanins, etc.). For this goal, researchers are following up on new methods to dispel the adverse effects of thermal pasteurization. The present research aimed to assay the simultaneous effect of the ultrasonic‐AC electric field and hydrodynamic‐AC electric field to eliminate microorganisms and preserve the quality of SCJ. The current research recommends a novel and combined method for SCJ pasteurization and this method can benefit the food industry.
