The Effectiveness of Augmented Reality in Physical Sustainable Education on Learning Behaviour and Motivation

This research explores the integration of information technology into physical education and uses augmented reality (AR) as an auxiliary tool to explore the impact of this teaching mode on the learning motivation, knowledge, and learning behaviour of beginner runners. A pre- and post-test control group design is adopted in this study. The study participants were 56 students implemented into a 16-session football teaching course. Before the teaching was implemented, the Learning Motivation Scale, independent variables were different learning modes, while the dependent ones were the participants’ learning performances, including their learning outcomes and motives, as well as their skill learning behaviours. The findings of this research are as follows: first, the experimental group (using AR) achieves better learning outcomes for motor skills than the control group. The experimental group also experiences stronger learning motives and better motor skill performances than the control one. Finally, the experimental group has a more positive attitude towards using the teaching materials, and the materials are more acceptable to them in comparison to the control one. This research contribution uses the advantages of AR to adopt an innovative teaching model, which can be highly appealing and motivating for learner behaviour. In practice, it also solves the deficiencies in the integration of information technology into physical education at this stage.

Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Taekwondo adalah UKM di Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya. UKM Taekwondo memiliki masalah ketidakseimbangan antara anggota dan pelatih dengan jumlah anggota yang berlatih. Pelatih harus mencontohkan Gerakan kepada setiap anggota secara berulang-ulang, tentunya akan mempengaruhi efektifitas waktu, apalagi jika pelatih tidak dapat hadir. Hal ini mengakibatkan latihan taekwondo menjadi kurang optimal. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dibuatlah media pembelajaran berbasis video 3D. Video tersebut berisi tentang gerakan dasar taekwondo. Proses perekaman data menggunakan teknologi motion capture. Pencatatan data dilakukan oleh pelatih taekwondo. Proses visualisasi menggunakan software unity. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan user terhadap hasil Video Dataset ada pada angka 81.56%.

The Remote Transmission and Analysis Framework of Physical Guiding Data Based on Information Technology

Aiming at the problem that traditional physical education activities need to occupy a large space and more human resources, the paper analyzes and designs a remote physical education data transmission and analysis platform based on WEB server and information technology, SQL as the database. The platform combines RTP (Real-time Transmission Protocol) and RT-CP (Real-time Control Protocol) to realize the optimization of multimedia data transmission. The final test proves that the performance of the system is stable, which not only breaks the traditional teaching method, but also provides a new learning mode for students. In addition, teaching resources have been optimized, and teaching efficiency has been increased by 5.3%.
