Abstract:Nanomaterials have been widely utilized in medical implant. This review demonstrates a number of applications of GNPs (gold nanoparticles) and SNPs (silver nanoparticles) in medical implants, including three main aspects, which are dentistry, orthopaedics and soft tissue. Nanomaterials are also known as ultrafine particle materials. Nanomaterials are composed of particles with a size range of 1 ~ 100nm.
