The Archaeology of the Gaucho “Vago y Mal Entretenido”

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to explain and discuss the essential operational characteristics of the technology of power (sensu Foucault) perpetrated on the internal frontiers with the Indians in nineteenth-century Argentina.
