The association between childlessness and voting turnout in 38 countries

Abstract: OBJECTIVEThis descriptive study aims to analyse the association between childlessness and voting turnout. METHODSWe used the first nine rounds of the European Social Survey and logistic regression models to estimate the association between childlessness and having voted in the last national elections using data from 38 countries.
