Abstract: Upper airway collapse and apneas in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) induce intermittent hypercapnia and hypoxia, eventually contributing to excessive uric acid production. This study aimed to evaluate the association between hyperuricemia and OSA in the general population via analysis of the eighth KNHANES dataset (2019–2021).
