The Atacama Cosmology Telescope: Summary of DR4 and DR5 Data Products and Data Access

Abstract: Two recent large data releases for the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT), called DR4 and DR5, are available for public access. These data include temperature and polarization maps that cover nearly half the sky at arcminute resolution in three frequency bands; lensing maps and component-separated maps covering ∼2100 deg 2 of sky; derived power spectra and cosmological likelihoods; a catalog of over 4000 galaxy clusters; and supporting ancillary products including beam functions and masks. The data and products… Show more

“…CMB-type experiments have already mapped the millimetre sky over thousands of square degrees with beamsizes of around 1 arcmin (e.g. Mallaby-Kay et al 2021;Sobrin et al 2022) and the entire sky with Planck's 5-arcmin beam. In a few year's time, the Prime-Cam instrument on CCAT-prime/FYST (CCAT-Prime Collaboration 2021) will carry out a survey of 20,000 deg 2 of sky from Chile, over several millimetre-to-submillimetre bands, with a beamsize of 15 arcsec at 350 µm.…”

“…For instance, analysis with SPT-3G data would be interesting to test whether these results are 'ground-based experiment (in)dependent', or whether they could come from fluctuation in a given patch of the sky. In addition to this, the ACT collaboration already has data beyond DR4 (i.e., DR5 [59] which includes data acquired in 2017-18) which may also shed light on the DR4 preference for EDE cosmologies.…”

“…Each year of data is referred to as a season (S13-S16) and was analyzed separately. The DR4 data products and some of their analyses are presented in Choi et al (2020), Aiola et al (2020), Darwish et al (2020), Han et al (2021), Madhavacheril et al (2020), Namikawa et al (2020), andMallaby-Kay et al (2021).…”
