The Beaded Rim: An Assessment of Functionality of Neolithic Plaster Ware and Pottery

Abstract: The beaded rim is a commonly applied feature found on plaster ware at the site of Tell Sabi Abyad in North Syria. The plaster ware, also known as white ware, dates back to the Early Pottery Neolithic phase (ca. 6700–6250 cal. BC).
