Abstract:Abstract. Precision experiments using the electromagnetic probe have recently produced important new data on fundamental properties of the nucleon, e.g. charge, magnetism, shape, polarizability, spin and sea quark structure. These experiments have been made possible by a new generation of high duty factor electron accelerators, advances in spin polarization technology (beams, targets and recoil polarimeters), and the development of unique, optimized detector systems. In this contribution, the role of multiple … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
