“…Lymphoid polyps of the large bowel, also known as benign lymphomas , multiple lymphoid polyposis, benign giant follicular lymphomas, and more recently as focal lymphoid hyperplasia (FLH) (1), are generally considered to be rare in childhood and unusual in adults. Although "pseudoleukaemia gastrointestinalis" had been described as early as 1839 (2), benign lymphoid polyps were first reported in 1890 by both Ball and Shattock (3,4) . Since then sporadic cases of FLH in adults and several series including some children have been published.…”
