The burden of postmastectomy breast reconstruction

Abstract: The rate of postmastectomy breast reconstruction (PMBR) continues to grow due to greater access, better patient education, expansion of prophylactic mastectomy, and increasing requests for bilateral mastectomy among women with early stage cancer.
