Abstract: Myosins are a crucial motor protein associated with the actin cytoskeleton in eukaryotic cells. Structurally, myosins form heteromeric complexes, with smaller light chains such as calmodulin (CaM) bound to isoleucine–glutamine (IQ) domains in the neck region.
