Abstract:Metal contamination is one of the most serious global problems. This investigation deals with the use of Aksaray pumice for the adsorption of cobalt ions. The factors affecting the adsorption on Aksaray pumice were examined. Pumice activated at 873 K for two hours before contact with cobalt ions.
