THE CHIRAL COLOR SYMMETRY OF QUARKS AND G′-BOSON CONTRIBUTIONS TO CHARGE ASYMMETRY IN $t \bar t$-PRODUCTION AT THE LHC AND TEVATRON

Abstract: The contributions of G ′ -boson predicted by the chiral color symmetry of quarks to the charge asymmetry A C (pp → tt) in tt production at the LHC and to the forwardbackward asymmetry A FB (pp → tt) in tt production at the Tevatron are calculated and analysed in dependence on two free parameters of the model, the G ′ mass m G ′ and mixing angle θ G . The m G ′ − θ G regions of 1σ consistency with the CMS data on the cross section σ(pp → tt) and on the charge asymmetry A C (pp → tt) are found and compared with … Show more

“…A t F B has been measured at LHC [32] and even though the presently available data have rather large errors, one still notices deviations between the central values of the measured asymmetry and the SM prediction. Many authors proposed various models BSM [33][34][35] to re-predict the asymmetry, more precise measurements are badly needed. In fact at the hadron colliders the signals might be contaminated by the rather messy background, so that it is hard to draw a definite conclusion about contributions of new physics.…”

“…In particular G ′ -boson could give rise at the LHC to the charge asymmetry of t t production as well as to the appearance of a resonant peak in the invariant mass spectrum of dijet events. The possible effect of G ′ -boson on the charge asymmetry of t t production at the LHC (and at the Tevatron) and the corresponding G ′ -boson mass limits have been discussed in [6][7][8][9].…”
