The Comparison of the Reliability of Three Psychometric Scales for Measuring Design Quality

Abstract

Three scales for subjectively measuring design quality have been developed. Each scale represents a unique strategy for aiding a person in judging the quality of a solution to a design problem. The scales are compared with respect to how reliable these judgements are over time. The experimental results demonstrate that one of the scales is not reliable but that the other two are reliable.
