The Compound Hob for Processing Gearbox Pinions Used in Hoist for Well Repairs

Abstract: The following article contains simulation modelling of two different types of hobs: the one made according to GOST 9324-80, and a composite hob with progressive cutting method. Also it contains the results of research on deflected mode of removable cutting edges in gear treating cutter, performed with help of simulation modelling and Kompas-3D and ANSYS software.
