The Consequences of Whistle-blowing: An Integrative Review

Abstract: Background: Whistle-blowing provides an avenue for healthcare workers to express their concerns when there is a breach of patients' safety. Most healthcare organizations have policies in place to prevent reprisals on whistle-blowers.
