“…Our research uses five metrically annotated poetry collections in normalized orthography, each of which concerns one language tradition: Czech [ 52 , 53 ], Dutch [ 54 ], English [ 55 ], German [ 56 , 57 ] and Russian [ 58 , 59 ]. These collections have disparate sources and vary in size, chronological scope, general composition principles and survivorship bias (the Russian corpus, for example, favors poems that were reprinted in 20th-century scholarly editions).…”

Since in all five traditions the dominant versification system is accentual-syllabic, all prosodic patterns and verse organization principles are comparable.…”

“…Poetry" now has 65 members: https://plottingpoetry.wordpress.com) develop precise methods to fit their own research goals, without having a neat tool to share with the wider community. To mention but a few, Valérie Beaudouin's Métromètre [Beaudouin 2002], Eliane Delente and Richard Renault's Malherbe [Delente and Renault 2015] or Benoît Brard and Stéphane Ferrari's work for French [Brard and Ferrari 2015], Klemens Bobenhausen's Metricalizer for German [Bobenhausen 2015], Daniele Fusi's Chiron for Latin and Ancient Greek [Fusi 2015], more recently the Postdata project's Anja, Skas and Disco for Spanish [Martínez Cantón et al 2017], Arto Anttila and Ryan Heuser [Anttila and Heuser 2016] for English and Finnish, Petr Plecháč and Robert Kolár's versologie tools [Plecháč and Kolár 2017], Igor Pilshchikov and Anatoli Starostinor's [Pilshchikov and Starostinor 2015] or David Birnbaum and Elise Thorsen's works [Birnbaum and Thorsen 2015] for Russian, all automatically analyze various components of verse. Further efforts towards interoperability are made, and one must salute the teams who provide well-thought web ontologies focused on versification phenomena, such as the Postdata project.…”

“…Érdemes megemlíteni a Cseh Tudományos Akadémia által fejlesztett Cseh verskorpuszt (Korpus českého verše) is, amely közel 80 000 annotált verset tartalmaz a 19. századból és a 20. század elejéről. 9 A korpusz a szavak lemmája, szófaja, morfológiai és fonológiai jellemzői mellett a ritmusra és a rímekre vonatkozó automatikusan létrehozott annotációkat is tartalmaz. 10 A korpusz honlapján számos lekérdező eszközből választhatunk.…”
