Abstract:Semiconductor nanoplatelets can possess desirable optical properties. For example, CdSe nanoplatelets show a high fluorescence quantum yield, a large one- and two-photon absorption cross section, and the ability to emit polarized light. However, their usage in devices requires control over their self-assembly, particularly the formation of stacks. The interplay of the various forces leading to stack formation in experiments remains unclear. Here, we use coarse grained molecular dynamics simulations of nanoplat… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
