Las reflexiones que aquí se presentan aluden a una investigación-intervención comprometida con la construcción de culturas de paz en contextos cotidianos, en los cuales se ha instalado una cultura de la violencia que se invisibiliza y naturaliza como manera privilegiada de resolver los conflictos. A partir de la información que emerge de las conversaciones y enunciaciones recogidas en un proceso de intervención realizado con integrantes de la escuela de padres de un colegio público en la ciudad de Bogotá, se presentan resultados en clave de categorías e intuiciones locales útiles para la comprensión y el abordaje de procesos de construcción de culturas de paz, las cuales aluden a las diferentes conexiones que emergen entre los conceptos de paz, memoria y tejido social, entre las cuales se encuentran: la paz es un ejercicio que empieza conmigo; la paz se teje en las conexiones con los otros; la paz necesita una memoria sensible y la memoria invita a fortalecer las redes.

In this paper we want to share our experience of using systemic practices from a systemic Fifth Province Approach in the facilitation of meditation groups and retreats. We refer to our way of being and doing as a "Fifth Province Systemic Meditative Practice". The practices and approach we will present can be likened to a kind of human murmuration, where surprising, generative, inter/intra-active and relational processes emerge. These emergent processes or transformations occur spontaneously and are from within the subtle, communicative, behaviour and relational aspects of the whole group. It is in this context that we use the word "intrarelational" after the work of Karen Barad (2007 p.33). The term "subtle" refers to all the non-verbal emergences occurring from the spiritual, mental, emotional, behavioural and social processes at play. Bios Imelda McCarthy, PhD, has been in the Family Therapy and Systemic field for most of her life as a therapist, trainer and supervisor. She was also an academic in the social sciences over twenty-five years at University College Dublin. She has published and presented internationally since 1983 and her work has been translated into nine languages. Over the last twenty years, Imelda has led a meditation group in her home in Dublin. She was spiritual director of a meditation organisation (Blue Star Ireland) for many years and is a member of Spiritual Directors International (SDI).

Several psychotherapy and family therapy models emphasise work on emotions, both as emotional awareness and transference analysis. Systemic therapy has developed in time a peculiar emphasis on the therapist's position, and on therapists’ and clients’ reciprocal positioning. In the present article we propose to integrate the dimensions of emotions and positioning through a concept we define as ‘finding one's place’. Finding one's place can be considered as a universal positioning activity of anybody involved in any human interaction, involving different domains: macro‐context, group, mutual relationships, internal dialogue. It entails an integration of these domains through an increased awareness of one's position inside relevant systems, and emotional interaction.
