The cyclooxygenase-expressing mesenchyme resists intestinal epithelial injury by paracrine signaling

Abstract: Paracrine signals play pivotal roles in organ homeostasis. Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) play a key role in regulating epithelium homeostasis in the intestine while their paracrine effects are poorly characterized.
