The cytidine deaminase APOBEC3A is required for large ribosomal subunit biogenesis

Abstract: Cancer initiates as a consequence of genomic mutations, and its subsequent progression relies on increased production of ribosomes to maintain high levels of protein synthesis for unchecked cell growth.
