Abstract:We investigate how the Martian dayside ionospheric structure is modified by crustal magnetic field (CMF) strength and upstream solar wind pressure by analyzing electron density data from the Langmuir Probe and Waves instrument onboard the MAVEN (Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN) spacecraft.
