The Design of Tachometer Contact and Non-Contact Using Microcontroller

Abstract: Calibration is required for various kinds of tools from kitchen tools such as stirrers or mixers to medical tools such as temperature calibration, ECG, blood pressure, and other instrumentation tools to be according to the required standards. In medical devices, a digital tachometer has been used as a calibration support device to measure the speed of objects that rotate in RPM on the centrifuge. Some medical devices are calibrated in km/hour, for example, the ergo cycle and treadmill. Two different devices or… Show more

“…RPM is the rotation per minute (RPM), F is the frequency (Hz), and P is the pole or number of poles [5][6] [7] . So, in the microcontroller system, equation 1 of the RPM measurement is changed to produce a rotation value reading.…”

“…The electrical design consists of two parts: the main controller robot and the LoRa sender/receiver, as shown in Figure 3. The main controller robot consists of Arduino Mega 2560 as a data processor and controller [19][20][21][22][23][24]. There are several sensors on the robot that are GPS, non-contact temperature sensors, accelerometers, and ambient humidity temperatures.…”
