“…The postural muscles usually have more abundant blood flow that hastens the drug absorption compared to non-postural muscles (Baxter & Evans 1973;Benet et al 2011). In addition, the amount of perimuscular fat or intermuscular fascial planes can reduce the rate of drug absorption (Sund & Schou 1964).
