The Determination of Charge of Cationic^99mTc-Radiopharmaceuticals

Abstract

Cation exchange HPLC methods for the determination of charge of cationic 99mTc-complexes were developed, based on a method described previously for anions. Nonspecific retention of lipophilic complexes was reduced by the addition of acetonitrile. The method was validated using a number of metal salts, and was used to c o n f i i the charges on several lipophilic technetium cationic complexes.
